Military & Civilian Spouses’ Club to host “Viva Las Irwin” casino night fundraiser

The Military & Civilian Spouses’ Club of Fort Irwin will host its fourth annual Casino Night Fundraiser, “Viva Las Irwin,” here, March 1.

Inspired by rat-pack-era casino parties, this fundraising gala will transport you to the glitz and glamour that was Las Vegas in the 1950’s and 1960’s. Enjoy buffet-style dining and tasty cocktails, live and silent auctions, and play poker games like Texas Hold ‘Em, Black Jack, and Left Right Center to win tickets for opportunity drawings. You’ll also be treated to a live performance by Frank Sinatra era vocalist, Danny D.

“Viva Las Irwin” will take place at the Sandy Basin Community Center from 6 – 11 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at the Fort Irwin Museum Gift Shop and Thrift Store or from MCSC board members. The price is $15 in advance or $20 at the door.

This is an adults-only event for those 18 years of age and older. For childcare information, contact Parent Central.

Proceeds will be used to benefit the Fort Irwin community in the form of student scholarships and welfare grants.

For tickets and more information visit the MCSC Web site at www.mcscftirwin.org or email Amy Kirk at irwinmcscpresident@gmail.com.
