Registration for Vacation Bible School “Wilderness Escape: Where God Guides and Provides” at www.groupvbspro.com. Free and hosted at the Fort Irwin Center Chapel, July 28-Aug. 1. Step back in time at “Wilderness Escape,” exploring some of the adventures faced by Moses and the Israelites. Kids and adult volunteers participate at the Israelite Camp, sing catchy songs, play teamwork-building games, dig into Bible-times snacks, visit Moses, and collect Bible Memory Buddies. Signups for Operation Kids Camp at Camp Nawakwa in the Barton Flats Area of the San Bernardino Mountains. June 22-27. Open to youth 8 to 14 years of an active duty or retired family member; $395 fee.
