It’s been one year since Kaleidoscope opened here and they continue to give back to the community by offering a place where Soldiers, Families and civilians can sell their handmade crafts, spices and Fort Irwin centric items to the population.
“We’re everybody’s small business, a place for the home crafter to sell their items, for the military by the military,” said Sara McNeil, Kaleidoscope Owner, “We’re a place to meet people.”
Since its opening, the consignment store has had over 80 vendors. Proceeds from sales pay for the rental space through the Exchange and the rest goes back to the seller.
“Over the year that we’ve been open, we’ve been able to put $45,897.11 back into the pockets of military families” said Jamie Neuenschwander, Kaleidoscope Operator “If it wasn’t for all the support from the community, we wouldn’t have been able to do it.”
To sell your items at the consignment shop, it must be handmade. For more information, stop on by Kaleidoscope located in the Exchange, or contact them on Facebook. https://www.facebook.com/kaleidoscopecraftsandcreations
