The Lancaster Sheriff’s Department set up a mat for self-defense demonstrations at the Family Fall Festival Oct. 15.
In observance of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, Family Advocacy and 412th Test Wing Helping Agencies held its first annual Family Fall Festival Oct. 15 at Arnold Park. The festival had something for everyone, including fire and police demonstrations, bouncy castles, live music, face painting and much more.

Booths were set up at the festival with free giveaways from APET, the 412th Medical Group, California Highway Patrol and Edwards AFB’s Sexual Assault Response Coordinator, to name a few.

The Family Fall Festival gave children a chance to go inside an ambulance to see up close what paramedics do on the job. While on display, the vehicle was equipped with a fake patient.
