Some lucky Airmen got a nice start to the weekend courtesy of the Edwards First Sergeants Council Feb. 26.
The first shirts looked for random Airmen E-5 and below so they could commit a “random act of kindness.” The Edwards First Sergeants Council bought the Airmen, or a spouse, a tank of gas and sent them on their way with a smile and a handshake.
The first sergeants had planned to fill up tanks for as many as 20 Airmen who happened to drop by the Express gas station Friday afternoon.
The Edwards First Sergeants Council focuses on quality-of-life initiatives and morale boosters for younger Airmen on base.
