Job title: Server Operations Technician

Job description and its impact on the overall mission: I administrate and manage enterprise servers and also troubleshoot day to day customer issues.

Time in the military: Four years

Time at Edwards AFB: Three and a half years

Family: Mother, father, an older brother (retired Navy), and an older sister.

Hometown: Jackson, Miss.

Hobbies: Playing piano and cooking.

Why did you join the military? To take advantage of the education and travel benefits.

Where do you see yourself in 10 or 20 years? Retired from the military, graduated with a degree in computer science and business, and working for an IT company in San Diego.

What do you do for fun here? Go for hikes with my husky or head to the beaches.

What’s your favorite Air Force memory or story? Being deployed with my best friend and getting to work with other country nationals and other career fields across the military.

What accomplishments are you most proud of? Competing in classical instrumental competitions and making it to the national level when I was in middle school.

How does your job help support the test and evaluation mission here at Edwards? My job supports multiple platforms that enable flight test data management. It also provides communication support to the entire Test Wing and Air Force Test Center.

What is your dream job and why?  I would LOVE to work for the CIA. I would love to follow after a few family members and build my own experience and expertise.

What do you like most about Edwards? Its proximity to Vegas, L.A. and the beach. In addition, the work tempo at Edwards allows for a work/life balance that affords me the opportunity to study and complete schoolwork during off duty hours. 

If you won a million dollars, what is the first thing you would buy?  A fully-paid, three-week trip to Santorini, Greece.

What distinguishes Graham from her peers?

“Senior Airman Graham is an outstanding technician who not only accomplishes her daily job well, but also has a knack for social networking. She provides an outlet to other base organizations and their personnel to handle a multitude of situations, from troubleshooting a communications outage, to sharing agency contact information with individuals to help with personal matters.”
