Gaining Altitude — Growth Opportunities for the Week

Chaplain (Maj.) John M. Von Almen
412th TW chaplain

Through our character – an opportunity to reflect on important issues in our community
George Washington once said, “I hope I shall possess firmness and virtue enough to maintain what I consider the most enviable of all titles, the character of an honest man.” Maintaining that character takes both firmness and virtue to make the difficult call to be truthful when a falsehood might be easier, but the pursuit of real integrity demands nothing less.

Through our prayers — an opportunity to pray for the needs of our community
God of all truth, grant us the strength to be persons who truly pursue integrity first.
