DAVIS-MONTHAN AIR FORCE BASE, Ariz. — The 355th Airman and Family Readiness Center will be hosting a Commissary Night, April 24.
The free event will be held for spouses of deployed Airmen and Exceptional Family Member Program families at the Commissary from 6-8 p.m.
“It’s an opportunity for spouses to shop uninhibited while providing them resources around the base that supports them while their loved one is abroad,” said U.S. Air Force Tech Sgt. Loraine Goody, Airman and Family Readiness Center readiness NCO.
This will be the third Commissary night held by the AFRC.
“Parents can grocery shop while their children are entertained by our crew of volunteers,” Goody said.
Trivia for prizes and giveaways will occour throughout the evening.
“We do Hearts Apart events every month,” Goody said. “The families love the Commissary night and so we get with the commissary and try to hold this event at least semiannually.”
