The USAF Test Pilot School took a “field trip” to Tehachapi in June, as students from the school’s Space Test Fundamentals Course gathered at Mountain Valley Airport’s glider school. As part of the Introduction Test Fundamentals portion of the course, the students utilize gliders to strengthen their understanding of time-compressed data collection practices in unfamiliar environments. A nice example of the interconnectedness of Aerospace Valley’s diverse resources and how they serve Edwards’ flight test mission… and just one of many stories we have prepared for you, in this week’s edition of Aerotech News!
