FORT IRWIN, Calif. — Three dozen Future Soldiers and referrals from Coastal Company were given the opportunity to visit and tour the National Training Center at Fort Irwin for the U.S. Army on July 31. They were hosted by Command Sgt. Maj. Nuells and while there, they met with Garrison Command Sgt. Maj. Robert Edwards, receiving mentorship and learning Army history. They also visited the EST range and conducted PT together. The project’s goal is to provide mentorship for future soldiers and introduce them to the Army through a tour.
