FORT IRWIN, Calif. — The Villages at Fort Irwin has an online tool, meant to be a one-stop shop to assist housing residents.

Active Building is an interactive resident portal available exclusively for all residents of The Villages. Users can post to the community wall, join interest groups, directly message neighbors and staff, receive important Villages updates and view upcoming events, and also view their lease and move-in documents.

Another hugely, popular feature is the ability to place and track non-emergency work orders 24/7. Along with the main leaseholder, a spouse/co-leaseholder can also have an individual account access once they’ve provided the housing office with their email address. Once registered, residents can access the portal through the Active Building mobile app available from Google Play or the App Store.
