FORT IRWIN, Calif. — Amid cheers and clapping, the Fort Irwin Community celebrated the grand opening of Soleil Nails and Spa on April 21.
“This has been a long time coming,” said Fort Irwin Garrison Commander, Col. Jeanette A. Martin. “It took about 12 months, but we made it happen, thanks to our partners at the Army & Air Force Exchange.”
Services offered by the spa include manicures, pedicures, facials, waxing, as well as providing massage services. “All Fort Irwin Exchange facilities, including Soleil Nails and Spa, adhere to the Department of Defense guidelines and Centers for Disease Control recommendations,” said the Exchange General Manager, Holly Elliott.
Fort Irwin’s original spa closed down in 2018.
“It’s been a priority for the Exchange to search for businesses and provide the services that the community needs, and a spa was definitely one of them,” said Mary Roldan, the Exchange’s Services Business Manager. “It took a while for the project to come to life, but we couldn’t do it without the help and support of the command, Soleil Nails and Spa, our Exchange HQ and most of all, the Fort Irwin community. We’re excited to finally open and we really want to thank the community for coming out and supporting us.”
Following the grand opening, the community was allowed in to tour the spa, and enter for a chance to win a gift card at the spa. Soleil Nails and Spa is open Mondays through Fridays from 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Customers may call 760-386-0555 to book an appointment.
