New amenities, rate increases announced at RV Park Town Hall

FORT IRWIN, Calif. — The Fort Irwin Recreation Vehicle Park will be undergoing multiple changes and improvements in the near future.

Here are some key takeaways from the two town halls that were held on April 8 and April 28.

1) The RV Park Campground Fees will increase modestly. Effective May 1, the daily rate is $20. Weekly rates will be $140 and monthly rates will be $600.

2) The RV Park Community Center now offers seven showers (two ADA compliant), men and women’s restrooms, coin-operated washer and dryers, a kitchen, lounge area, dumping station and a propane filling station.

3) A newly-paved roadway has been approved and funded; construction date is TBA.

4) A new outdoor park has been approved and funded; construction date is TBA.
