On Dec. 17, 2021, the Expert Infantry Badge/Expert Soldier Badge candidates completed the final events of EIB/ESB week with a 12-mile foot march wearing a 35-pound ruck sack in three hours or less.

At the completion of the foot march, candidates were required to clear, disassemble, assemble, and perform a functions check on an M4 within the specified time.
