The monthly Blackhorse Academy finished its two-day course at the Horse Detachment Stables, Fort Irwin, Calif., on Jan. 26, 2022.

The curriculum covers everything a new Blackhorse Trooper should know – topics range from the Regiment’s history to our mission and unique units at the National Training Center to recreational activities in the high Mojave Desert.
