The 2015 fall flag football season has begun at Luke Air Force Base with 13 teams competing to show who has what it takes to win.
“I feel pretty good about this season,” said Benjamin Williams, 56th Logistics Readiness Squadron head coach. “There was a good showing of people, and we have a very talented team this year. I feel this season will be amazing. There are not any obstacles we can’t manage.”
As the temperatures in Arizona start to drop, the weather is perfect for the evening games held at the base track football field. The evening consists of three games beginning at 6 p.m., 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. with six teams taking the field.
“We have a lot of new players this year,” said Thomas Carter, 56th Equipment Maintenance Squadron Aerospace Ground Equipment Flight. “It will be exciting to see them play and above all, for everyone to have fun.”
