The following is a list of actions issued in the months of August, September and October 2017 at Luke Air Force Base:
56th Maintenance Group
Courts-martial
• An airman first class was found guilty of one charge and five specifications in violation of Uniform Code of Military Justice Article 112a, wrongful use of cocaine. The individual received a reduction in rank to airman basic and a bad-conduct discharge.
• A senior airman was found guilty of one charge and one specification in violation of Article 112a, wrongful use of cocaine. The individual received a reduction in rank to airman, confinement for 30 days and a bad conduct discharge.
Articles 15
• An airman first class received nonjudicial punishment for allowing an underage airman to consume alcohol at the airman first class’ residence. The individual received a reduction in rank to airman and a reprimand.
• A staff sergeant received nonjudicial punishment for going on leave without having the leave officially approved. The individual received a reduction in rank to senior airman suspended, forfeiture of $1,267 pay per month for two months and a reprimand.
• An airman first class received nonjudicial punishment for failing to send oil in for sampling and signing off saying it was done. The individual received a reduction in rank to airman suspended, 30 days extra duty and a reprimand.
• An airman first class received nonjudicial punishment for failing to document an oil servicing on an aircraft. The individual received a reduction in rank to airman suspended, 30 days extra duty and a reprimand.
• A staff sergeant received nonjudicial punishment for claiming to be on a profile and couldn’t perform a physical training test when in fact the individual was not on profile. The individual received a reduction in rank to senior airman, forfeiture of $1,267 suspended and a reprimand.
• An airman received nonjudicial punishment for underage drinking. The individual received a reduction in rank to airman basic, forfeiture of $799 suspended, 21 days extra duty and a reprimand.
• An airman received nonjudicial punishment for driving while intoxicated. The individual received a reduction in rank to airman basic, forfeiture of $799 suspended, 30 days extra duty and a reprimand.
• An airman first class received nonjudicial punishment for wrongful use of marijuana. The individual received a reduction in rank to airman and reprimand.
• A staff sergeant received nonjudicial punishment for reckless driving. The individual received a reduction in rank to senior airman, forfeiture of $1,267 and a reprimand.
56th Mission Support Group
Courts-martial
• An airman first class was found guilty of one charge and one specification in violation of Article 112a, wrongful use of cocaine. The individual received a reduction in rank to airman basic and hard labor without confinement for three months.
Articles 15
• An airman first class received nonjudicial punishment for underage drinking. The individual received a reduction in rank to airman suspended, seven days extra duty and a reprimand.
Punishments for similar offenses may vary from case to case based on the circumstances of the offense and factors such as: an offender’s age, military and disciplinary record, financial condition and suitability for continued service. To ensure fair administration of justice throughout the Luke AFB community, the legal office reviews all cases.

If an Air Force member or employee of the Air Force receives a delivered writ, summons, notice of legal proceedings, or other foreign process, the individual should immediately notify the legal office.
