The new Edge 540 V3 has the highest aerobatic thrust to weight ratio of any competition aircraft. It comes with a low drag design that is new and consistent.  It can exceed 15gs sustained loading with a modified Lycoming IO540, Hartzell composite three-blade prop, a max speed of 265 mph, rate of climb at 3,700 feet per minute, and a roll rate of 420 degrees per second. Zivko Aeronautics Inc. had a mission to produce a plane that could perform precise maneuvers at high speed and leave creative room for professionals, like Kirby, to develop new figures.
