A group of Luke Air Force Base logistics professionals attended the National Logistics Officer Association Symposium in early October. The LOA Symposium is a premier event enabling interactive exchanges among logistics, acquisition and technology professionals from the Defense Department, defense industry and academia. The gathering offered sponsored logistics think tanks, 13 LOA university courses, 19 general sessions, 14 breakout sessions, and more than 50 exhibits tying military to industry and promoting tactical, operational and strategic-level insight. The forum offered senior leader perspectives that included: Robert McMahon, Assistant Secretary of Defense for Sustainment, Lt. Gen. Warren Berry, deputy chief of staff for Logistics, Engineering and Force Protection, Headquarters U.S. Air Force, Lt. Gen. Robert McMurry, Air Force Life Cycle Management Center commander, and other general officers, senior executive service and corporate leaders.
