On May 8, 2021, 11th ACR Horse Detachment assisted BSA Troop 67 Fort Irwin with the Horsemanship Merit Badge.

With guidance from the Horse Detachment cadre, the Scouts learned about how to care for horses, how to saddle them, components of a saddle, how to treat horses if they get sick, and much more.
