NMCB-5 Corpsman trains on suture techniques

PORT HUENEME, Calif.–Hospital Corpsman 1st Class Shayne Stanley, from Palmdale, Calif., instructs Hospital Corpsman 3rd Class Shyanne Byers, from Greenville, Ohio, on proper suture techniques using pigs’ feet at Naval Branch Medical Clinic Port Hueneme, Calif. Both sailors are assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 5. The sailors assigned to NMCB-5 support worldwide combat and contingency operations, building advanced bases and conducting humanitarian recovery missions.
