Aerotech News and Review – Digital and Print Journal of Aerospace, Defense Industry and Veteran News, serving the Antelope Valley (“Aerospace Valley”) and Edwards AFB, CA. An AerotechNews.com Publication. – February 4, 2022
Hello everyone, and thanks for checking out the February 4th issue of Aerotech News and Review! Maj. Allen Black, Assistant Director of Operations for the 412th Flight Test Squadron at Edwards AFB, has been named a finalist for Spark Tank 2022. As the Department of the Air Force flagship innovation event, Spark Tank plays a central role in establishing the Department’s strategic mindset for delivering future capabilities. Black advanced in the prestigious competition for his work with the F-22 Raptor Fighter Optimization Experiment, or FOX. “It is an honor to represent Edwards AFB at this event and we would not have had this opportunity if it was not for the tremendous support of our leadership, as well as the phenomenal 412th Test Wing Innovation team,” Black said. Best of luck, sir, and we hope to see the Spark Tank trophy make its way to Edwards! We have the full story and much more news for you, in this week’s edition of Aerotech.
