The 56th Security Forces Squadron handled the following incidents Sept. 21 through 27 at Luke Air Force Base:
Tickets
Security forces issued citations for 16 moving violations.
Sept. 27: Security forces responded to a report of a minor vehicle accident involving a government-owned vehicle vs. a fixed object at the parking lot of Bldg. 318. There were no injuries.
Emergency
responses
Sept. 26: Security forces and firefighters responded to a report of a fire in base housing. Security forces assisted with a cordon and traffic control for emergency vehicles. The fire was contained and the response terminated.
Sept. 24: Security forces responded to medical emergency at Bldg. 460. Security forces provided first aid and coordinated with medical personnel. The patient was taken to a nearby hospital for further evaluation.
Nonemergency
responses
Sept. 26: Security forces responded to a warrant’s hit at Kachina Gate. Security forces released an individual wanted for failure to appear to Glendale police.
Sept. 22: Security forces responded to a warrant’s hit at Lightning Gate. Security forces released an individual wanted for assault to Maricopa County Sheriff’s officers.
Sept. 24: Security forces responded to a report of shoplifting at the base exchange. Security forces detained a dependent after investigating security tape footage for evidence. Glendale police took control.
Alarm activations
Security forces responded to two alarm activations on base.
