The 56th Security Forces Squadron handled the following incidents Sept. 28 through Oct. 4 at Luke Air Force Base:

Tickets

Security forces issued citations for 15 moving violations and one nonmoving violation.

Traffic-related incidents

Sept. 29: Security forces responded to a report of a minor vehicle accident involving a government-owned vehicle and a privately owned vehicle at the parking lot of Bldg. 954. There were no injuries.

Oct. 2: Security forces responded to a report of a minor two-vehicle accident at Lightning Gate. There were no injuries.

Emergency responses

Sept. 28: Security forces responded to medical emergency at Bldg. 2202. Security forces provided first aid and coordinated with medical personnel. The patient was taken to a nearby hospital for further evaluation.

Nonemergency responses

Sept. 28: Security forces responded to a noise complaint in base housing. A security forces patrolman made contact with the residents and briefed them on noise control. Security forces terminated the response.

Sept. 30: Security forces responded to a report of an assault involving nonmilitary affiliates. Security forces arrived on scene and conducted an investigation. Glendale police responded and took control.

Oct. 3: Security forces responded to a report of shoplifting at the base exchange. Security forces detained a dependent after investigating security tape footage for evidence. Glendale police responded and took control.

Alarm activations

Security forces responded to 11 alarm activations on base.
