The 56th Security Forces Squadron handled the following incidents Oct. 12 through 18 at Luke Air Force Base:
Tickets
Security forces issued citations for five moving violations and two nonmoving violations.
Traffic-related incidents
Oct. 15: Security forces responded to a report of a minor vehicle accident involving a government-owned vehicle and a fixed object at the intersection of Ammo Road and Strike Eagle Street. There were no injuries.
Emergency responses
Oct. 18: Security forces responded to a domestic disturbance in base housing. Security forces apprehended an active-duty Airman for Article 128 after initial investigations. The individual was transported to Bldg. 179 for in-processing before being released to the unit first sergeant.
Oct. 14: Security forces responded to medical emergency at the base running track. Security forces provided first aid and coordinated with medical personnel. The patient sustained a leg injury and was taken to a nearby hospital for further evaluation.
Nonemergency responses
Oct. 16: Security forces responded to a report of shoplifting at Bldg. 1540. Security forces detained a nonmilitary-affiliated juvenile after review of security footage showed the individual departed without rendering full payment. Glendale police was contacted and took control.
Alarm activations
Security forces responded to six alarm activations on base.
