In accordance with Air Force Instruction 34-511, paragraph 3.1.5, notice is hereby given that Airman Craig N. Mertens is deceased. The undersigned has been appointed summary court officer for the purpose of estate settlement in accordance with AFI 34-511. All persons having claims against the estate are hereby on notice to present their claims. Claims must be presented by mailing or presenting a written signed statement to: 1st Lt. Finance office closed
The finance office will be closed 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 6 due to Wingman Day. The office will resume normal business hours at 8:30 a.m. Monday.

AFOSI recruiting fair
The Air Force Office of Special Investigations, Detachment 421 is featuring a recruiting fair on Nov. 10 at Club Five Six. AFOSI is responsible for investigating major crimes against the Air Force, Defense Department and the United States and is constantly seeking exceptional NCOs for duty as enlisted special agents. AFOSI conducts criminal investigations, fraud investigations and counterintelligence activities servicing leaders at every echelon of Air Force Command. Thanksgiving Day dinner
The Ray V. Hensman Dining Facility will host Thanksgiving Day lunch 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and dinner 4 to 6 p.m. on Nov. 26 in Bldg. 545. A traditional menu will be served. Forging Sabre exercise
Luke Air Force Base will host Forging Sabre, an exercise involving members of the Republic of Singapore armed forces Nov. 30 through Dec. 14. The exercise includes night and weekend flying operations at Luke AFB and the Barry M. Goldwater Range complex. The areas around Luke and the BMGR may experience more noise than usual as a result of the increased air activity and types of aircraft involved. There will be an increased military presence with military movements along Highway 85 south of Gila Bend as military position themselves within the Barry M. Goldwater range. Retiree Appreciation Day

The 56th Fighter Wing Legal office is hosting an opportunity for retirees to set up a legal will or modify an existing one Nov. 7 at Retiree Appreciation Day. The office is currently accepting call-ins from retirees.
