The 56th Security Forces Squadron handled the following incidents Nov. 16 through 29 at Luke Air Force Base:
Tickets
Security forces issued citations for 13 moving violations and eight nonmoving violations.
Traffic-related incidents
Nov. 23: Security forces and firefighters responded to a report of a major single-vehicle accident at Fighter Country Avenue and Johnson Lane. An ambulance transported the individual to a local treatment facility for evaluation.
Nov. 24: Security forces responded to a report of a minor single-vehicle accident at the parking lot of Bldg. 1540. There were no injuries.
Emergency responses
Nov. 21: Security forces and firefighters responded to a report of a medical emergency in Luke Air Force Base Exchange. The individual, experiencing chest pains, was treated by fire emergency personnel and transported to a nearby hospital. Security forces provided assistance with first aid and traffic control.
Nov. 23: Security forces and firefighters responded to a report of a medical emergency in base housing. The individual was experiencing an allergic reaction and was treated by fire emergency personnel and released. Security forces provided assistance with first aid and traffic control.
Nonemergency responses
Nov. 16: Security forces responded to a report of underage drinking and possession of alcohol by a minor in Bldg. 636. The military member was apprehended was turned over to the unit first sergeant.
Nov. 22: Security forces responded to a warrant’s hit at Kachina Gate. The individual was verified by the Maricopa County Sheriff Office to be a victim of identity theft. The individual was instructed to report to MCSO to correct the action.
Alarm activations
Security forces responded to 11 alarm activations on base.
