The 56th Security Forces Squadron handled the following incidents Nov. 30 through Dec. 6 at Luke Air Force Base.
Tickets
Security forces issued citations for two moving violations.
Traffic-related incidents
Dec. 2: Security forces responded to a report of a minor two-vehicle accident at the parking lot of Bldg. 500. There were no injuries.
Emergency responses
Dec. 2: Security forces and firefighters responded to a report of a medical emergency at Kachina Gate. The individual experienced a knee injury, was treated and released. Security forces provided assistance with first aid and traffic control.
Nonemergency responses
Dec. 4: Security forces stopped and apprehended a military member for violation of Article 111, driving a motor vehicle under the influence, at South Gate. The individual was released to the unit first sergeant.
Dec. 5: Security forces was contacted by Peoria police regarding a military member taken into custody for DUI. Security forces contacted. The unit first sergeant was contacted and responded.
Dec. 2: Security forces came in contact with a retiree possessing a firearm in a vehicle at the parking lot of Bldg. 1515. The individual was detained and released to Glendale police who assumed control.
Alarm activations
Security forces responded to 10 alarm activations on base.
