The 56th Security Forces Squadron handled the following incidents Dec. 7 through 13:
Tickets
Security forces issued citations for 26 moving violations.
Traffic-related incidents
Dec. 10: Security forces responded to a report of a minor vehicle accident involving a government-owned vehicle and a fixed object at the parking lot of Bldg. 948. There were no injuries.
Emergency responses
Dec. 8: Security forces and firefighters responded to a report of a medical emergency on Thunderbird Street. The individual was treated and transported to a nearby hospital.
Nonemergency responses
Dec. 10: Security forces responded to a warrant’s hit at South Gate Visitor Center on a nonmilitary-affiliated civilian wanted by Phoenix police for failure to appear. The individual was detained and released to Phoenix police.
Dec. 11: Security forces responded to a warrant’s hit at Kachina Gate on a Reserve military member wanted by Phoenix police for a parole violation. The individual was detained and released to Phoenix police.
Dec. 11: Security forces was contacted by Glendale police in regard to a military member in custody for DUI. Security forces contacted the member’s first sergeant who responded.
Alarm activations
Security forces responded to six alarm activations on base.
