The 56th Security Forces Squadron handled the following incidents Jan. 25 through 31 at Luke Air Force Base:
Tickets
Security forces issued citations for 16 moving violations and 13 nonmoving violations.
Traffic-related incidents
Jan. 29: Security forces responded to a report of a minor two-vehicle accident in the parking lot of Bldg. 931. Security forces verified the damage and drivers exchanged information. There were no injuries.
Emergency responses
Jan. 26: Security forces responded to a report of a medical emergency in the commissary. An individual was experiencing dizziness. The individual was treated by medical personnel and transported to a nearby hospital for further treatment.
Nonemergency responses
Jan. 29: Security forces responded to a report of shoplifting at the Luke Air Force Base Exchange. Security forces detained the dependent of a retired military member after video evidence confirmed items were taken without rendering full payment upon departing the Exchange. Glendale police responded and took control.
Jan. 30: Security forces responded to a report of shoplifting at the Exchange. Security forces detained the dependent of a retired military member after video evidence confirmed items were taken without rendering full payment upon departing the Exchange. Glendale police was unable to respond due to emergency reasons and the individual was released to the sponsor after pertinent information was given to Glendale police dispatch to conduct an report. The individual also received a two-year debarment order.

Security forces responded to nine alarm activations on base.
