The 56th Security Forces Squadron handled the following incidents Feb. 8 through 14 at Luke Air Force Base:
Tickets
Security forces issued citations for 41 moving violations and 10 nonmoving violations.
Traffic-related
incidents
Feb. 9: Security forces responded to a report of a minor two-vehicle accident in the parking lot of Bldg. 1150. Security forces verified there was no damage and drivers exchanged information. There were no injuries.
Emergency
responses
Feb. 13: Security forces responded to a report of a medical emergency at the Luke AFB Exchange. An individual had suffered a seizure and was treated by medical personnel with security forces providing assistance. The individual was transported to a nearby hospital.
Nonemergency
responses
Feb. 12: Security forces responded to a report of a warrant’s hit at South Gate Visitor Center. Security forces detained a nonmilitary affiliate for contempt of court, failed to pay fine. Security forces contacted Avondale police who responded and took control of the individual.
Feb. 13: Security forces conducted a traffic stop on a nonmilitary affiliate who was operating a vehicle with a suspended driver’s license. Security forces contacted Glendale police who responded and took control of the individual. The individual’s sponsor was briefed on the situation.
Alarm activations
Security forces responded to three alarm activations on base.
