The 56th Security Forces Squadron handled the following incidents Feb. 15 through 21 at Luke Air Force Base:
Tickets
Security forces issued citations for 40 moving violations and nine nonmoving violations.
Emergency responses
Feb. 16: Security forces responded to a report of a medical emergency at the base track where an individual was having chest pains. The individual was treated by medical personnel with security forces assistance and transported to a nearby hospital for further treatment.
Feb. 21: Security forces responded to a report of a medical emergency in base housing where an individual had suffered an injury from a fall. The individual was treated by medical personnel with security forces assistance and transported to a nearby hospital for further treatment.
Nonemergency responses
Feb. 17: Security forces responded to a report of a warrant’s hit at South Gate Visitor Center. Security forces detained a nonmilitary affiliate for failure to comply out of Peoria City Court. Security forces contacted Peoria police who responded and took control of the individual.
Feb. 19: Security forces responded to a report of a warrant’s hit at South Gate Visitor Center. Security forces detained a nonmilitary affiliate for the offense of fraud out of Maricopa County. Security forces contacted Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office who responded and took control of the individual.
Feb. 16: Security forces stopped an individual who was displaying suspicious activity while walking over the bridge late at night. The nonmilitary affiliated individual claimed to have jumped over the wall near the 56th Medical Group clinic. Security forces detained the individual for trespassing and contacted Glendale police who took control of the individual.
Feb. 20: Security forces was contacted by the Fighter Country Inn asking for assistance with an individual unable to pay the room fee. Security forces reviewed the receipt of nonpayment and escorted the individual off the installation.
Alarm activations
Security forces responded to seven alarm activations on base.
