Luke Air Force Base Wingman Day is March 21. It reinforces the wingman concept and focuses on unit wellness.

Through his “Comedy is the Cure” performance, professional comedian Bernie Grenahan hooks the audience with an earnest message on his personal and dangerous experience with high-risk behaviors. After years of denial and destruction, McGrenahan finally sought professional help.

Through his talent as a comedian he has created an innovative and effective prevention program which focuses on safety, respect, resiliency and bystander intervention delivered in a stand-up comedy show venue. 

The event is 9 to 11 a.m. and 1 to 3 p.m. at Club Five Six, Bldg. 161. Civilians and contractors are welcomed and encouraged to attend.

Master resiliency trainers will be available with resources and materials.
