Senior Airman Tyler Quayle, 33rd Maintenance Squadron low observable maintenance journeyman, cleans the slot of an F-35A Lightning II panel before replacing a grommet April 28 at Eglin Air Force Base. The panel must be prepared with a cleaning agent to ensure adhesives can properly bond to the surface keeping parts in place.
