Luke AFB Thunderbolt – Digital and Print Publication for Luke AFB, serving the West Valley region of Phoenix, AZ. An AerotechNews.com Publication. – May 2020

Hello, Fighter Country Friends – thanks for checking out the May edition of Luke AFB Thunderbolt! We have some extra content included in our digital edition here that you won’t find in the papers available on the newsstands – we hope you’ll click through and enjoy the extra news and features. This month, we take a look at the innovative Air Force “think tank” program, AFWERX, as it steps up to work on two big priority projects: Base of the Future and Space Challenge. Base of the Future focuses on the reconstruction of Tyndall AFB, which was heavily damaged by Hurricane Michael. Elements of Tyndall’s reconstruction may be used to benefit all bases in the future – a topic of interest to us all. Click on the link below to read this and other stories in your free digital copy of Luke AFB Thunderbolt, viewable on your computer or mobile device.
