The following states remain noncompliant and have not been granted a renewed extension and will be subject to REAL ID enforcement following a short grace period. Starting January 30, 2017, Federal agencies and nuclear power plants may not accept for official purposes driver’s licenses and state IDs from a noncompliant state/territory without an extension.

• Permanent Resident Card/Alien Registration Receipt Card
• Foreign Passport with a temporary stamp or temporary printed notation on immigrant visa
• Employment Authorization document w/photo
• U.S. Coast Guard Merchant Mariner Legacy Cards
• U.S. Coast Guard New Merchant Mariner Credential
• PIV or Federally-issued PIV-I Cards; PIV-I cards (non-Federal Government entities)
• Department of Homeland Security “Trusted Traveler” Cards
• U.S. Certificate of Citizenship or Certificate of Naturalization
• U.S. Permanent Resident Card
– U.S. Refugee Travel Document or other travel document of immigration status issued by DHS w/photo
• Foreign Government issued Passport
• Veterans Identification Card or Veterans Health Identification Card
