VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System is committed to providing excellent health care for veterans.

In our efforts to fully promote a healthy environment for all of our veterans and employees, we will be a smoke-free campus effective Oct. 1, 2019. This is part of a nationwide campaign to make all VA facilities smoke-free.

All tobacco products to include cigarettes, cigars, pipes and chewing tobacco as well as electronic nicotine systems such as e-cigarettes and vaping devices will no longer be allowed on the campus. In addition, the smoking shelters at the Medical Center as well as Primary Care Clinics will be closed.
