Desert Lightning News Nellis-Creech AFB – Digital and Print Publication Serving Nellis AFB, Creech AFB, Las Vegas NV and surrounding communities. An AerotechNews.com Publication. – August 20, 2021
Hello everyone, and welcome to the August 20th issue of Nellis AFB / Creech AFB Desert Lightning News! We have a final summation of Red Flag 21-3 prepared for you, in this week’s issue of Desert Lightning News. This iteration of Red Flag was particularly notable in that it involved only U.S. personnel — no allied partners — allowing the joint participants from other services and major commands to focus on details and sharpen their skill sets at a high tactical level. “Having multiple major commands participating makes this an even more unique exercise,” said Lt. Col. Tyler Stef, Red Flag commander. “They bring a different focus for different problem sets and gain unique perspectives, because they are well-versed in that specific region.” We have this and much more news for you in this week’s edition of Desert Lightning News — just click on the link below for your digital copy of DLN, viewable on your desktop or mobile device.
