Maj. Nicholas Rallo, 62nd Fighter Squadron F-35 instructor pilot, shuts down the engines of his aircraft after completing the squadron’s 500th sortie in an F-35 March 2 at Luke Air Force Base. The 62nd FS is the second fighter squadron to host the F-35 at Luke. To date, the 56th Fighter Wing has flown more than 3,900 sorties at Luke.
