Participants of the Thunderbird 4-kilometer memorial run gather for an invocation May 24, 2018 at Luke Air Force Base, Ariz. Fallen Thunderbird pilot, Maj. Stephen Del Bagno, was killed when his F-16 Fighting Falcon crashed during a routine aerial demonstration training flight. The length of the run was in honor of Del Bagno who was known as Thunderbird 4.

Luke Airmen participate in a 4-kilometer memorial run May 24, 2018, at Luke Air Force Base, Ariz., The run was in honor of the late Thunderbird pilot, Maj. Stephen Del Bagno. More than 20 Thunderbolts dedicated their time to commemorate Del Bagno during the run.

Stephen Del Bagno who was known as Thunderbird 4.
