Aero Club raffles off free flight at open house

What does it take to learn to fly? The Edwards AFB Aero Club answered that question during their open house Nov. 30. Visitors were invited to a hot dog lunch and entered in a raffle for a free orientation flight with instruction.

Edwards assists in president’s Paris visit

Edwards AFB was called upon by the Air Force to assist with President Barack Obama's trip to Paris, France. He arrived in Paris this past weekend for the 2015 United Nations Climate Change Conference.

“What am I most thankful for this year? My family, God’s protection over them especially being split with my kids being in northern Virginia and then my wife and my youngest son here. And I’m thankful for this job and being able to take care of Edwards. It really is an honor and a blessing; I get up every day and thank God for this opportunity to serve.”

Civilian workforce updated at 412th TW commander’s calls
