Pranava Moody, Air Force veteran and Mrs. Nevada Global Nations, speaks to those in attendance of the National Disability Employment Awareness Month Information Fair at Nellis Air Force Base, Nev., Oct. 21. Ten years after leaving the Air Force, Moody was diagnosed with service-connected Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, and now uses her title as Mrs. Nevada Global Nations to bring awareness to military veterans programs for wounded service members. During the information fair, vendors from the Airman & Family Readiness Center, Opportunity Village, Veteran Ready, the USO, and a Red Cross Veteran Employment Manager/MGM Veteran Recruiter were on hand to talk to attendees of the event. NDEA is a nationwide campaign that raises awareness about disability employment issues and celebrates the contributions of America’s workers with disabilities, past and present.
