Military Combine: The Warrior Fitness Center hosts a Military Combine Nov. 10. There are two sessions: Session 1 runs 9 a.m.-noon, and session 2 runs 1:30-4:30 p.m. The event is open only to active duty, Guard, reserve and spouses, and you must be 18 or older to take part. Participants will compete in six NFL-style athletic combine events: 40-yard dash; standing broad jump; cone L drill; running; passing and catching drills. Thrift Store: Volunteers needed: The Nellis Area Spouses’ Club Thrift Shop is looking for volunteers. There are many opportunities including donation sorting, pricing, straightening shelves, stocking the store, bagging, assisting the cashier and many more.
