Leadership and their families from Nellis Air Force Base, Nev., served Thanksgiving dinner on Nov. 22 at the Crosswinds Inn dining facility.
While some Airmen are able to go home to be with their families during the holidays, some must stay to continue to the mission.
More than three dozen people served Airmen, retirees and their families Thanksgiving dinner. Preparation started months before the holiday to ensure the staff had enough food to feed hundreds of guests.
The dining facility has continued the tradition to bring leadership and the Airmen together during the holidays.
