NEWPORT NEWS, Va. — Capt. Jeremy Vaughan, from Las Vegas, Nev., assigned to USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN 78), is promoted to his current rank by his daughters during a promotion ceremony in the ship’s inport cabin. Ford is currently undergoing its post-shakedown availability at Huntington Ingalls Industries-Newport News Shipbuilding.
