Guardian Angel Airmen assigned to the 88th Test and Evaluation Squadron, 53rd Wing, head out to an HC-130J at Nellis Air Force Base, Nev., for a freefall and static line test mission. The 88th TES is currently the responsible test organization for the HH-60G, HC-130N/P/J aircraft and the Guardian Angel Weapons System.
Airmen assigned to the 88th Test and Evaluation Squadron, Detachment 1, Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Ariz. test drop an item from the an HC-130J over Nevada. The 88th TES falls under the purview of the 53rd Test and Evaluation Group at Nellis which, in turn, reports to the 53rd Wing at Eglin Air Force Base, Fla.
An HH-60G assigned to the 88th Test and Evaluation Squadron, 53rd Wing, flies back to Nellis Air Force Base, Nev., after completing a test and training mission. The 88th TES, part of the Combat Search and Rescue Combined Test Force, is responsible for all test, evaluation and tactics development for Combat Search and Rescue.
