Thanks for checking out the June 7th issue of Aerotech News and Review! Our editorial focus this issue is the anniversary of the D-Day invasion, 75 years ago on June 6, 1944. The Battle of Normandy, codename Operation Overlord, launched the successful invasion of German-occupied Western Europe during World War II. Acknowledged as the greatest amphibious invasion in history, the tens of thousands of Allied troops who stormed France via its northern coast and from the skies overhead risked everything to bring an end to Hitler’s brutal occupation of Europe. Click on the link below and read more about this daring operation, the likes of which we will never see again, in this week’s edition of Aerotech News.
